FuelSave Australia - History & Technical Info
The Diesel/Gas Australia GenIV Vapour Injection System is the most advanced system on the market today.
Over the last decade continual research and development has led to the Diesel/Gas Australia GenIV system being refined to produce the best results from both old and new technology engines without being invasive or threatening the inherent reliability of a diesel engine. The system works effectively across the full range of diesel engines and is summed up by the quote from Autospeed Magazine March 2008 “It is one of the most amazing modifications we’ve covered in nearly a decade”.
It is now
installed on over 2500 vehicles in Australia and is now being exported.
Installation
- by fully trained and accredited fitters.
LPG tanks
are fitted to Australian Standards ASNZ 1425. And the gas line runs to converter
placed under the bonnet.
The injector,
converter and filter are manufactured in Europe, by one of the world's largest
LPG hardware manufactures.
The Electronic
Control Unit (ECU) receives inputs from the following sensors - manifold or
throttle position, engine coolant temperature, fuel pressure, foot and jake
brake and tacho.
The computer
unit is mounted under the dashboard.
The switch/gauge
is mounted on the dashboard.
The system
operates on both naturally aspirated and turbo engines.
