Navara D40 crew cab 2.5 litre turbo intercooler manual.

After our experience with the patrol we did not hesitate to convert this ute. It also has had a lazy axle added ,replaced the tub with a tipping tray so has a payload of greater than 1.5 ton. Now done over 37,000 km. With a gross combine mass (GCM) of 6.4 ton it is amazing how well this 2.5 litre engine tows.

Deutz Agrotron 128 tractor.

With rising fuel costs this was our next project. The tractor pulls notably better (you know when you run out of LPG),
15% drop in the fuel bill. This is lower than the patrol mainly due to the higher cost of LPG being delivered to the farm. Fine tuning may be able to lift this. No smoke. Now run the tractor at 1600RPM instead of 2200 doing all the work. 4 to 6 l/hr less fuel. Overall I would recommend these conversions ,increase torque/power, better fuel economy , greatly reduced fuel bills and LOWER emissions.

I am looking forward to when I do my Deutz agrotron 90 tractor with the new GEN IV system.

1/ Patrol 3 litre turbo-intercooler manual
Now done just over 200,000 km since it was converted. Dyno testing showed 28% increase in torque. It now drives like a petrol, turbo lag is reduced and with the increased performance, less gear changes. Very enjoyable to drive. Fuel bills dropped by 23% and emissions were greatly reduced.
